Nearby Theaters
Located on the northwest corner of Hoddy Street and Quinlan Street. The Mechanics Institute Hall opened in 1911. The Mechanics Institute Hall was demolished(date unknown?) and replaced by the Goomalling War Memorial Hall in 1922. Movies were screened from 1922 to 1934, and again from 1943 to the early 1960’s. The hall is still there, but no longer screens movies.
