The Metro Bioscoop was opened in 1980. Last known as Cinema Tiel, it was closed on 13th March 2020 due the the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was announced on 19th June 2020 that the closure would be permanent.

Metro Tiel is a small and cozy cinema located in the center of Tiel. Thanks to its cozy décor, comfortable chairs and the relaxed atmosphere, you will feel at ease in the cinema.
There are plenty of parking spaces in the immediate area, all within a 5-minute walk. The main train station is only a 7-minute walk away.
The halls
Metro has 4 small rooms. Our rooms accommodate 338 visitors. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, Dolbi Digital Sound, are digitized and have the ability to display Digital 3D movies.
There’s a sad news report about this cinema. Acoording the newspaper item of 19 June 2020, it will close down for economical reasons. And these reasons are due to the government corona measures. https://bit.ly/2BtOZmR
