The Capitol Kino was opened in 1929. It was a single screen cinema with 306 seats. The cinema was set back from the street.
It was twinned on 27th December 1980 with seating for 168 & 158 in the two auditoriums. It was closed in 1997 and the building is now in use as a textile shop for women’s clothing.
