The Princess Theatre was in operation by 1911, when it was listed in a directory as one of two theaters in the town, the other being the Sterling Theatre. It was located in a storefront on the ground floor of the Masonic Temple, which was built in 1908.
The Princess Theatre was being managed by E. D. Smith in 1913. It was still open in 1915, but had closed by 1926.
