This lightly tilted photo was part of a photo montage inside the September 1949 issue of Albuquerque Progress, published by the Albuquerque National Bank. The caption read: “66 Drive-In Theatre, 4500 Block W. Central: Albuquerque Theatres, owners; Wylie Brothers, contractors.”

Since the Albuquerque Progress never included copyright notices, as far as I can tell, it should be in the public domain. I found it at New Mexico Digital Collections, which said it came from the Public Library Albuquerque Bernalillo County, which asserted that it does not hold copyright. But it added that, “Photo rights are reserved to the Albuquerque Museum.”
