This photo was on part of a tilted photo montage in the December 1949 issue of Albuquerque Progress, published by the Albuquerque National Bank. I corrected the severe tilt before uploading it here. The caption read: “66 Drive-In Theatre, 4500 block, West Central: Albuquerque Theatres, owner, Waylie Brothers, contractor."

Since the Albuquerque Progress never included copyright notices, as far as I can tell, it should be in the public domain. I found it at New Mexico Digital Collections, which said it came from the Public Library Albuquerque Bernalillo County, which asserted that it does not hold copyright. But it added that, “Photo rights are reserved to the Albuquerque Museum.”
