Located on 5th Street near Pine Street. First movie theater in town, also featured vaudeville, opened in the earlier 1900’s, closed November 1910. In 1917 the owner/theatre manager John Vogel was killed in a fire which occurred at the theatre. By 1926 it was operating as the 450-seat Crown Theater. By 1929 it was listed with 600-seats. It had closed by 1931, probably as a silent movie theatre. It became a shoe store.
