Located in Dunston-on-Tyne to the west of Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The Albert Picture Palace was opened in 1912. It programmed cine-variety and had a 6ft deep stage. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. By 1956 it had been equipped with CinemaScope. It closed around 1960 and was converted into a bingo club. It has since been demolished.
