Temperance Hall

Located in Keighley, northwest of Bradford. The Temperance Hall was opened on 26th November 1896. It had a large 800-seat hall and a smaller 35-seat hall. It was used to screen films in the early years of the 1900’s.

In the 1960’s and 1970’s it became a venue for dances. In 1982 it was converted into a Walker’s Bingo Club. A Weatherspoon’s pub named The Livery Rooms occupy the ground floor. It is on Historic England’s list of Listed buildings Grade II.
