Electric Theatre

This theatre appears on the 1921 Sanborn. It was located in a basic wooden structure, one of several facing the railroad. It’s unknown if it was a conversion of an older commercial space, but it seems likely.

This theatre was still open in 1926, but had closed by 1927. It was briefly replaced by a theatre operated in a tent at an unknown location, before the Fox Theatre opened one block over in 1935. The building has been demolished. The replacement might date from the 1940’s or 1950’s.
