The Victoria Theatre was opened by 1926. It was listed as (Closed) in 1933, but had reopened by 1934. By 1936 it had been renamed Mays Theatre. It was listed as (Closed) in 1939. By 1940 it had reopened as the Ritz Theatre and was still open in 1956, but had closed by 1957.
It was one of the old “Frank” theatres. The building is still being used. Was Colonial Coin shop in the 1980’s & 1990’s.

The Victoria Theatre at Mays Landing was mentioned in the August 24, 1918 issue of Moving Picture World. In March, 1935, Philadelphia Exhibitor said “William Rhoads, Wildwood, N.J., has opened up the Victoria, Mays Landing, N. J., after house was dark for many seasons.”
