This small theater appears on the 1925 map, operating in an old two-story commercial building constructed sometime between 1886 and 1891. The 1914 map shows a second-hand store located there.

This location was rather marginal, but was more vibrant than today’s wasteland of parking lots and hulking municipal buildings. This block and the one to the west were two and three story buildings, mostly brick, housing a variety of businesses, including two hotels.

This address, which was the third building from the corner, is currently under the giant city utility building.
