The Rex Theatre was opened by 1931, it was listed as (Closed) in the 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook. It remained closed until S.S. Millard reopened it as the Paris Theatre in April 1937. It closed in 1941. By 2019 the building was being used by a clothing alterations store.
