Located in the Washington Square West district of the city center. The Keystone Theater was opened by late-1914. It was designed by architect Joseph Levin. The façade was brick, painted white to resemble terra cotta. It had a two story central arch which was topped with a very large Keystone Grotesque with electrical displays on two keystone signs. It underwent some alterations at some time by architect Harry Brodsky. It was closed as a silent movie theatre in 1931.

In 1948 it was converted into a Krass Brothers discount men’s clothing store, retaining the sloping floor, which was still open in 1986. The building has since been demolished.
