Below history credit Vintage Bergen County: “Casino Theater in Westwood. Westwood has had five movie theaters, three buildings, a tent and one outdoor theater. This the second theater to operate. Before 1912, V. Van Buskirk, opened what he called the Casino Theater in his former carriage and harness shop at the southeast corner of Broadway and Irvington Street. It closed before May 1921”.
