Palms Theatre

The Palms Theatre was opened by 1950, a few doors up and across the street from the Towne Theatre in Fillmore. It was still open in 1952, but had closed by 1955. It became Fillmore Video, the only video store in the small town.

Inside, you could see where a screen would have gone, as well as the décor along the sides of the auditorium and the projection booth (which seemed a bit off-centre, which is strange). There were multiple pieces of projection equipment used as decorative pieces, which may or may not have been in use during the store’s days as the Palms Theatre.
