The congregation concerned is the Sunday Assembly who meet to celebrate the wonders of life. Launched in October 2013 it probably only used the hall a few times as it now meets on Summerhall. The former cinema has also been used as the Laughing Horse venue in the Edinburgh Fringe.

Yes,it has been demolished. St Mary’s Church built a new church on the site.

Address may not be correct as 40 New Street is listed as a Spar supermarket, the cinema/church is further along the road.
