•
Frame from the 1986 movie, ….ABOUT LAST NIGHT; filmed in Chicago in late, 1985. The two little upstairs auditoriums were known as the Roxy and the Ritz; however, those names lasted for about a year or so after the two upstairs cinemas were opened in 1983. Plitt Theatres took over the Biograph in 1984 and eventually dropped the Roxy/Ritz names and just called the two little auditoriums #2 and #3 and, of course, the original main auditorium was known as Theatre #1. For whatever reason, Plitt left the Roxy/Ritz marquee up until Cineplex Odeon took over in 1985 and eventually got rid of the neon sign.

The Albion Picture Theatre was re-named Majestic Theatre in 1928. By 1950 it was operated by the Kerridge-Odeon chain. By 1968 it was operated by the Fullers Theatres chain. It was possibly closed in the early-1980’s and was demolished in 1985.
