  • <p>Hoyts Renown Theatre 378 Glenhuntly Road, Melbourne, VIC - Today converted to units.</p> <p>The Renown traded well until the advent of television, and somehow managed to survive by diversifying into specialized product. A fire in 1970 led to the theatres demolition. This valuable main road site was finally cleared for the construction of a multi-level retail & apartment site.
