The Post-Theater Management Career of Nat Holt
Holt is more famous as a film producer of mostly Westerns. He continued to work for RKO in the 1940s, producing films starting in 1945 through the 1950’s, and, for other studios, also. In the mid-1950’s, he produced the TV Western series, “Tales of Wells Fargo,” “Shotgun Slade,” and “The Tall Man.” The last film he produced was “Cattle King,” in 1963.
