The sound reproduction, at the inaugural projection last night was satisfactory, and the programme, which comprised a selection of interesting short pictures and a feature film. ‘Amateur Daddy’ was well received.
Mr. McDonald, in declaring the theatre open during the interval, said that the new equipment was one of 23 XL Tone installations ‘of the same type now in operation in various parts of Western Australia. It was a locally manufactured product, and he had enjoyed every minute of the entertainment.
