Actually this cinema opened in 1972 as a single screen very similar as the model shown with Jerry Lewis. The second screen was added several years later. Trying to find pictures of this theatre when I worked there.

I added some photos that was taken by my manager Koosmal in 1977 while I was the projectionist. I grew up coming to this theatre when my father was the projectionist for many years. So many memories.

I added the photo my family found of what turns out is the original screen tower. I was told it was blown down around 1955. Trying to find photos of it’s replacement tower.

My family found the picture of the marquee that I uploaded to this site. It appears to be from the late 30’s to early 40’s. We also found a pic of the front of the screen, but it’s different from my days of employment. trying to verify.

Really a beautiful theatre. My father was one of several projectionist that worked there. I often would go to work with, and followed in his footsteps to become a projectionist myself.

The building in the comment mentioned by Kenmore is the old projection booth. I know this by the shades over the projector ports are still there. I also know this, because my father, and I were projectionist there. Had many years of good times.
