As of late 2018, the Brady Theater was renamed the Tulsa Theater due to controversy surrounding the original name. The venue remains in operation today and continues to host a variety of performances.
The neat update to this story is that the Boman became a couple things after laser quest but then was bought somewhere around 2022ish time period and the amazing owners brought it back to life and it is now called the Boman Twin Event Center! You can actually rent it out for big events! How cool is this! They have a facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/BomanEvent918/ and an Instagram account! I will see if I can get them to allow me to use a couple of their facebook photos to add to the site so everyone can see what it looks like now. It’s really neat!!
I currently live in Tahlequah and unfortunately the dream is now closed and in need of some TLC if anyone was interested in fixing it up. I will try to add a current picture soon.
I think the Southland twin has been torn down. Looking at google maps and remembering from my childhood I believe the empty parking lot next to the Chickasha Lumber Company and the last store which is a yogurt store I believe is where the southland twin was. Sad really!
The Redskin is back up and running!! Yay! I love this theater and have such great memories of it when I was a kid. Here is the current website address and Facebook address for the theater as of right now 2018
I’m curious if this building has been torn down and a new building rebuilt in its place since 2016? It looks like a brand new building. However, I know that remodeling can have some amazing effects. You will have to google this one out and check it out for yourself.

As of May 2025 the Redskin Theatre was sold to a new owner. It’s possible the new owner will keep it the way it is but for now it’s uncertain.
