Interior of the Palace toward the stage at its opening. This would be the Raphael A. Nicolais “second version” of the venue. The final version would eliminate the stage altogether.

George and his brother, Jimmy Songer both worked at the Palace in the mid to late 1950s. They improved on their love for the cinema/movies by moving to Hollywood. Jimmy invented much of the technology behind “instant replay”, gaining only partial credit. The rest taken by Jerry Lewis. George, still lives in West Hollywood.
