Why does the description say there are plans to build an amusement park on the site? There’s no way an amusement park is being built in Foothill Ranch. Apartments likely, but no way an amusement park.
Anyone have a source on the supposed ICON theater? The current redevelopment plans (May 2024) don’t specify a theater, just general entertainment references in a build-out plan that might not be done completely for over a decade. I assume that may have been part of the now cancelled “5 Lagunas” plan.
Saw some surf movies and Warren Miller ski movies there in the early 90s before it closed but the only regular movie I know I saw there for sure was Home Alone on Thanksgiving when I was in first grade.
