The sun sets on a drive-in theater outside Lusk recently. Across the nation, the sun seems to be setting permanently on such theaters, which reached their height of popularity in the 1950s. In 1993, efforts were made to improve the sound and picture systems at the old Lusk facility, but this summer it is closed once again.
