Hi Norman, that building was never the Lyric Theatre. The New Lyric Theatre is what eventually became the Preston Theatre at the intersection of 4th and Iron about 2 blocks east. I’ve added an architectural sketch from before the name change to the Preston Theatre page, go check it out.
Photographs in this thread show the incorrect building. The building was a small single story building on the opposite corner. I have attached a picture of it that I bought at Ken Fiebelman’s store in Salem years ago.
