No Video DCP here they just show classic 35mm film with a live projectionist in the booth. A few times they will show ‘CinemaScope’ 35mm movies with a full wide screen with proper masking. The screen masking will open at the top for old 1.33 films. Many of these old original 1950’s /1960’s CinemaScope movies came with 4 channel magnetic stereo surround sound. The stereo surround speakers at the Stanford Theatre are in the side walls flat. They very seldom will run a mag stereo print because most of the old mag stereo 35mm prints have lost the mag stereo sound track, to bad once they are gone no more stereo effects just mono sound. They may have Dolby Stereo in the booth I think.
