The building currently on this site has the name Forrester Building enscribed in stone on the top of the building. It was built in 1907. The vertical blade sign has the name ‘Bond’ which I believe was a store. Current use for the building (at street level) is the Pavo Real Jewelry Plaza.
The Palace of Pictures opened on April 25, 1915, in former retail space. The opening movie was Ruth Roland and Henry King in “The Price of Fame” & Ruth Roland & Henry King in “Who Pays?”. It was closed in February 1916.
