Small eastside neighborhood theatre on Mack Avenue at Pasadena Street (now renamed McClellan Avenue). The Pasadina Theatre was opened by 1914. that showed the old B movies, weekly serials and cartoons. Three employees: a ticket seller, a projectionist and one to operate the concessions. As a youngster, I attended this theatre in the 1940’s.

It has been demolished and the site is now a grassed-over vacant plot.

A Pasadena Theatre is listed at Mack Avenue and Belvedere Street in the 1914-1915 AMPD. It appears at 9232 Mack in the 1926 FDY, which is closer to McClellan Avenue than to Belvedere Street, so the house might have moved to a new building at some point during that period. From 1916 it had to compete for neighborhood patrons with the larger, architect-designed Delthe Theatre two blocks down Mack Avenue.
