1918 photo credit Terry Lind, whose great-uncle Edward Lind opened the Lyric Theatre which was built in 1913.

This early movie house located at Vienna Street and Main Street was acquired by I.W. Rodgers in the early-1920’s. After a fire, the Lyric Theatre was demolished in 1937 and Rodgers had the Rodgers Theatre built on the site, which opened in February 1938.
