Farmville Drive-In

The Farmville Drive-In located on South Main Street near Clark Street, the Farmville Drive-In opened in 1947. This drive-in had a capacity for approximately 1,000 cars. The Farmville Drive-In closed in 1981 and has been demolished.

Goggle Earth 1967. The entrance and exit was on RT.15 not Clark Street.

The Farmville Drive-In actually opened in 1947.

A closer address is 2108 S. Main St, Farmville, VA. As previously stated by jwmovies.

This is where the entrance and exit roads were located as revealed by the 1955, 1959, and 1967 aerials.

Having said that, a 1984 aerial shows the drive-in with entrance and exit roads on Clark Street. It appears the addition of the on/off-ramps to Prince Edward Highway caused the drive-in to move their entrance/exit roads before it closed.

Today, a Quality Inn and two other businesses sit on the property with no trace of the drive-in remaining.
