The Fox Theatre was opened March 18, 1936 with Jessie Matthews in “First a Girl”. It had approximately 230-seats, not confirmed as its seating capacity was never given in Film Daily Yearbooks. It was listed as the ‘New’ Theatre (Closed) in the 1938 edition for FDY.
