A three-screen cinema, possibly located in a shopping center in White Oak. It was still listed as being open in a 1996 Carmike directory and probably closed not too long afterward.

I believe the theater is now a Dollar General
Many, many memories of this theater! My gram used to take me here all of the time when I was little in the 70’s. Then as a teen in the 80’s, the mini golf course and a movie was a fab way to spend a summer Friday night.
It is indeed a Dollar Store now, and I always wonder if there is still any actual remnants of the theater left inside, somewhere.
I’d have to ask my Mom and Dad, but I think I was here when I was a kid (I’m in my early 30s now). When I think of all of the movie venues once prevalent in the area (Monroeville Mall, Showcase East, White Oak, Eastland, and yes even the Loews 20) now all gone. I think the only place within miles to see a show is the Destinta.
Oh, and the Norwin too!
First operated as the Rainbow Theatre as early as the mid-1970s. It was later operated by Cinemette Corporation of America and finally Carmike. Carmike closed the Rainbow on October 16, 1996.
