The building itself was a three story stone front constructed in 1887.
Apparently, most of the listing is wrong. The Novelty is listed through 1956 with 300 seats. I don’t know when, or even if, it became the Corral. The site is now a parking lot, and the building was probably demolished sometime in the ‘60s or '70s.
As has been pointed out, the reference to the Yale is wrong. That was a different theater.
Houses called the Yale Theatre and the Novelty Theatre are both listed in the 1914-1915 American Motion Picture Directory. The Novelty is listed at 410 E. Douglas, but no address is given for the Yale.
The Yale and the Novelty are two separate theaters. The Yale was at 504 E. Douglas Avenue while the Novelty Theater was at 410 E. Douglas Avenue.
When it was the Novelty theater in the 40’s and 50’s I attended as a child and teen, you saw 2 movies, usually westerns and saw a news reel and cartoons for 15 cents and a tall bag of popcorn was 10 cents and if you wanted to you could stay and watch it again. The well off went up Douglas West a block to where the more wealthy went, a kid had to pay 35 cents I think, might be wrong on that. If you went East there was the State Theater and the Victory Theater. I went to all, but often to the Corral or as I remember, the Novelty.
Chuck, The theater on the south side of Douglas Avenue in the image was the Marple Theater and later known as the Vogue Art Theater. Odd number buildings on are the south part of Douglas with the even numbers being on the north side.
This link has good images of classic Kansas cinemas,

Perhaps the address got transposed as the street number left of the Corral looks as if it reads 406.
