The Spearman Airdome was located on two lots near the second Gem Theater. It had parking spaces for automobiles as well as bench seating. A Wurlitzer player piano provided music for silent films.
The theater even featured giant fans that would blow in appropriate “odors” to complement the action on the screen. Local youths would often push the benches aside to dance. The Spearman Airdome opened in 1914 and was closed by 1929.
