Opened on November 5, 2004, the Promenade Cinema 14 is a brick building built next to the historic "lower 4th Street" area of downtown Sioux City. A circular front entry way has retail space for future business and the auditoriums reside in the back of the large steel and brick building.
By early-2025 it was operated by ACX Cinemas. It was closed on September 30, 2025 as the operators were locked out by the landlords on October 1, 2025.

The Promonade will be renovated this summer. New features include reserved seating, recliners, a new bar, and other improvements.
