The Pringle Theatre was opened on October 18, 1937 with Errol Flynn in “The Prince and the Pauper”. It was closed in 2009. Students from Glenmora High School spent a year restoring the theatre and after a period of closure, it reopened in June 2025.

My wife lived in Glenmora in 1980 as an exchange student from Brazil. She recalls seeing a movie at the Pringle. She had never seen popcorn sold inside a theater as that was not common in Brazil at that time.

The Pringle Theater re-opened and is showing movies again, their facebook page has great pictures of the interior.
The Pringle Theatre operated for many decades until it suffered its closure in 2009, and has been family-operated throughout its history. It wasn’t until July 2019 when students at Glenmora High School did a years-long renovation for the Pringle. The Pringle reopened around a few years later.
