The AMC Franklin Park Mall 6 was opened on October 4, 1985. It was taken over by National Amusements in 1996. It was closed and torn down in 2004.
The Franklin Park a mile away and Showcase Cinemas Toledo southwest three miles away closed the following year. The Franklin Park 16 replaced all the three in 2006.

AMC Theatres opened the AMC Franklin Park Mall 6 on October 4, 1985, alongside their nearby Southwyck 3 Cinemas. AMC operated the theater until 1996 when it was taken over by National Amusements, who operated the theater until its closure in 2004.
