HiWay Theatre

The HiWay Theatre opened October 22, 1946 with Gary Cooper in “North West Mounted Police”. It was located in a shopping center and had a long lobby, with the walls lined with posters.

The HiWay Theatre closed on September 27, 1977 with Christopher George in “Day of the Animals”. The frontage of the theatre was severely remodeled. The auditorium was used for storage before it was demolished in 2004.
