The Midway Drive-In was opened on April 16, 1954 with Dana Andrews in “Canyon Passage” & Bud Abbott & Lou Costello “In the Navy”. It was run by the Liberty Theater Corp. from Spring of 1963. Capacity was 400 cars. The drive-in was closed on October 17, 1985 with Demi Moore in St. Elmo’s Fire". The drive-In was demolished in the late-1980’s.

The Midway Theatre launched on April 16, 1954 with “Canyon Passage” and “In the Navy.” Ad in photos. The venue was taken on by the Liberty Theatre Corporation of Covington beginning in the Spring 1963 season.
The Midway Drive-In actually closed for the final time on October 17, 1985 with “St. Elmo’s Fire” and an unnamed Three Stooges short before showing. It went into an auction on February 22, 1986, and was demolished by the end of the decade.
