The Nylic Theatre was located on the West side of N. Main Street. It opened on September 1, 1921. On April 12, 1923 it was renamed Metropolitan Theatre. But that was short lived as it was closed in August 1923 and became a Chevrolet dealer. The building it was housed in burned down in 1959.
