Showmen’s Trade Review, Jan. 10, 1953: “Clyde Nihiser, who operates the Star and Limberlost Drive-ins at Geneva, Ind., has acquired the Palace, Fairmount, Ind.”
Status should be closed. No info on the internet and phone is disconnected. Definitely looks closed in the Google Street View.
This theatre opened as the Limberlost Theatre and became the New Star Theatre in 1935 and by 1937 it was just the plain Star Theatre
