Liberty Theatre

Originally opened as Liberty Theatre on December 12, 1918. In 1943 it was renamed Gem Theatre. In 1950 it reurned back to the Liberty Theatre name and was still listed in 1955. In September 1968 it was taken over by Kerasoates Theatres.

In 2015 it is in use as a children’s bouncy house play center.

The address on the Liberty/Gem Theatre should be 105 S. Madison St., Malden, MO 63863. The building is still standing and in use.

The Liberty Theatre opened its doors on December 12, 1918. It was renamed the Gem Theatre in 1943 for several years before bringing back the Liberty Theatre name in 1950.
