Second-run cinema pub in North Attleboro, MA on Route 1, owned by Christopher Ballarino. It opened with 2-screens in early February 2001. It was announced in April 2026 that the Route One Cinem Pub would be closing on May 31, 2026.

How long has it been in operation? The website has a 2007 date on it. I gather that it’s in a strip-mall -type location.

According to this article from the Attleboro Sun-Chronicle, the Cinema Pub opened for business. However, according to the Internet Wayback Machine, the website for the venue exsisted from late 1999 on. I am not sure if this is shoddy reporting, or an unreliable website.
I have driven past it once, and it is in a strip mall, of sorts. I’ve never seen a movie there yet, but sometime soon, perhaps.

Also, this article says the Cinema Pub has 2 screens. So either the owner expanded, or films are rotated, I guess.

I agree, SiliconSam. I guess I goofed adding this one. They switch films around, apparently. Interesting.
So according to the March 2001 Attleboro newspaper, it opened in early-Feb. 2001, with 2 screens.
Yeah…sorry, apparently I’m thinking faster than I can type. I meant to put that in my post. Ugh.
