The Irvington Drive-In opened on November 3, 1950. It was operated by Claude Ezell & Associates. The premier feature was “Singing Guns” with Vaughn Monroe and Ella Raines. It was closed on November 29, 1979 with Carol Kane in “When a Stranger Calls” & Faye Duaway in “Eyes of Laura Mars”.

I am not really a Drive In theatre guy. just trying to help out with this Almanac i have on Drive ins in 1956. My friend Nick, In Tampa was working the Drive-ins.
Bowen Tools took over the site. My father in law worked there during the late 80s through the 90s
The site is now a supermarket(Metals INC), a steel fabricator(Deacero USA), and a winery(Planta Houston).
