The Time Theatre opened by 1935 with seating listed at 800. The theatre was located in what is now the Historic Grand Hotel. This area is considered the Historic Downtown District. It was operated by Welworth Theatres.
The Time Theatre closed in 1956.

Operated as early as 1935. There was another theater in New Ulm called the Nile Theatre, which operated during both the silent and sound eras. Unfortunately I cannot find as much information about it.
