Loop Theatre

The Loop Theatre opened in 1941 and was operated by Paramount-Richards Theatres. Seating was listed at 928, all on a single floor. The architect for the Loop Theatre was J.T. Knight Jr. The cost of building the theatre at that time was $76,708.00.

The Loop Theatre was closed by ABC Southeastern Theatres on December 27, 1974 with Charles Bronson in “The Stone Killer” (aka “State of Death”).

It has since been demolished. A Walgreens Store is located where the theatre once stood.
