A closer address is 1600 N Main St, Blakely, GA.
This puts it right where the entrance road use to be. Today, the property connects to Malone Road.
A 1983 aerial shows the drive-in had been closed for some time, but it was still intact. A decade later, the drive-in was totally demolished. Today, there are no traces of the drive-in remaining.

Opened on September 14, 1950. The Peter’s name was named after operators Mrs. J.C. Peters and her son Billy Peters. It was still open in 1972.

This drive in was owned by Kate (Dunn) Peters, sister to C. S. Dunn. She also owned the downtown Blakely theatre. I retrieved some old Montay speakers from this drive in and I believe these speakers were made by a company located in Cuthbert Georgia. I had never heard of them before. I also retrieve the benchs that were located in front of the concession building, rebuilt them and installed them in the Cairo Drive In.
