According to a walking tour marker in front of the building, this opened as the Tringas Theatre in 1940. It was named after its owner, John Tringas.

Cinema Plus seems to be your typical cinema restaurant-type establishment. It was closed on May 1, 2014, soon reopened. It was closed again on October 4, 2018, reopening on July 5, 2019 as Suds-N-Cinema.
